Depth Coaching
For women to reimagine midlife as a time for finding themselves, not fixing themselves.
Most people would probably describe you as someone who (usually) has it all together.
But as you stand at the threshold of midlife, wondering what’s next, you can’t help but feel hollow inside. Like somewhere along the way, you started living someone else's life.
As you go about your day, you might find thoughts like these playing on a loop:
"I'm exhausted from constantly trying to prove myself."
Because no matter how much you accomplish, it never feels like enough. And neither do you. You tell yourself, “I just need one more certification. One more win. Then I can finally relax.” But that time never seems to arrive.
"I feel like I'm too much and not enough at the same time."
Because you’ve spent years making yourself smaller to fit in and keep others happy—holding back your voice, your ideas, and even your True Self. At the same time, you also feel ashamed you haven’t made a bigger impact.
"I feel like what I'm doing doesn't really matter."
Because unless your work is creating a massive, measurable impact—and getting praised by others—you feel like you’re falling short. And those everyday wins along the way feel too small to make a difference.
What if midlife isn’t a problem to solve, but an awakening to the truth of who you were before the world told you who to be?
Why Depth Coaching?
You’re not broken. This culture can’t capitalize on what’s already whole.
You’re not behind. This culture can monetize your productivity, but not your presence.
You’re important. This culture devalues any impact that it can’t measure.
A part of you, deep inside, already knows these things are true. But over the years, it’s been buried beneath "shoulds"—protective patterns, beliefs, and fears that once kept you safe, but are now making you small.
As we deconstruct these restrictive inner structures, you’ll begin to:
Recognize your innate worth
Move from defining your worth through external achievements to remembering your innate value—ever-present in every moment. This involves disrupting the “too much/not enough” paradox, rebuilding your self-trust, and learning to embody the Mature Feminine archetype (grounded in embodied worthiness).
Reclaim your authentic voice
Make your midlife a time of awakening, not crisis. This is the time to reconnect with the “Dark Feminine,” which holds the parts of yourself you rejected to fit into patriarchal systems that were never built for you. That sacred energy is the root of your feminine power.
Embrace your sacred calling
Learn to share your gifts in ways that do not perpetuate harm, and reclaim your agency in a world shaped by exploitative systems. By honoring your “small corner of the world” as a sacred space for your unique impact, you embody the Mature Feminine—rooted in wisdom and self-trust.
The Wild Depth Journey
Your journey will be as unique as you are. But here’s how the process usually unfolds:
Step 1 - Recognition & Invitation (Initial Consult)
We begin by acknowledging where you are—the exhaustion of proving, the "too much/not enough" paradox, the disconnect from your inner knowing. This isn't about fixing what's broken; it's about recognizing what's ready to be reclaimed.
Step 2 - Descent into the Shadows (Early Sessions)
We create a contemplative container for your inward journey, exploring the adaptive patterns, childhood fears, and protective mechanisms that have kept you safe but small. Here, we meet the wounds not as obstacles but as messengers, revealing the soul's compass toward the sacred calling of your True Self.
Step 3 - Excavation & Reclaiming (Middle Phase)
Through depth work, we begin excavating the shadows (old patterns, fears, and beliefs) that keep you stuck in doubt. This involves rewiring ingrained patterns of compliance, “self-sabotage,” and people-pleasing—then reconnecting with the aspects of yourself you rejected to succeed in masculine-oriented systems.
Step 4 - Integration & Embodiment (Later Sessions)
You learn to trust yourself from where you're standing right now. The focus shifts to how you’ll begin fully embodying your authentic self in your immediate sphere—loving your small corner of the world and seeing it as enough.
Step 5 - Emergence & Sacred Calling (Completion)
You move beyond the exhausting cycle of striving by embracing who you’re truly here to be. While your sacred calling may encompass the work you do in the world, it’s about something much deeper than that. It’s about using your time, attention, and intention to contribute your gifts in a way that nourishes your True Self, your community, and your small corner of the world.
“I have been hard-wired to be self-competitive, and letting some of that go wasn’t easy. You continued to allow me to return to this and asked different questions that had me look at it from all sides of the issue. You have a relaxed style and gentle energy that is soothing and comforting to me, which made me instantly feel at ease.”
“Words cannot express how much Andrea and this program changed my life. I came into the program seeking a heart-centered outlet, as I spend all of my time in my “head” and in a toxic corporate environment, and I knew this program would help me force space to connect to myself. I am in a completely different place now.”
FAQs
-
While both therapy and Depth Coaching support personal growth, they serve different purposes.
Therapy typically focuses on healing past trauma, treating mental health conditions, and addressing psychological dysfunction.
Depth Coaching, on the other hand, views wounds and unresolved patterns not as problems to fix but as an inner compass guiding us toward our true purpose.
Rather than healing, our goal is to create a contemplative container for exploring the hidden patterns and shadows keeping you from recognizing your innate wisdom.
-
Traditional coaching often focuses on setting goals, creating action plans, and achieving specific outcomes.
Depth Coaching takes a fundamentally different approach. Instead of asking, "What do you want to accomplish?" we ask, "What are you being called to become?"
This work doesn't bypass your professional questions—it addresses the deeper layers beneath them. We're not looking for quick fixes or surface-level strategies. We're creating space for the kind of transformation that happens when you stop performing and start inhabiting your life fully.
-
Currently, depth coaching is offered exclusively online via Zoom. For in-person offerings, stay updated on upcoming Gatherings or consider joining an annual retreat on Whidbey Island.
-
Insurance typically doesn't cover coaching because it is generally not considered a medical or mental health treatment, so it doesn't fall under the healthcare services that insurance plans cover.
Insurance companies typically only reimburse for services provided by licensed mental health professionals (like therapists, psychologists, or psychiatrists) who are treating diagnosed conditions.
-
While this work may impact your professional life, it addresses something deeper—the universal human struggles of self-trust, worthiness, and purpose that transcend any specific role.
You'll gain clarity about your true calling, learn to use your inner and outer resources in a way that is true to you, and focus on who you are becoming—not what you achieve.

Every meaningful change begins with slowing down long enough to listen — to yourself, to what’s stirring, to what’s asking to come next.
This free call is a space to talk openly about where you are and what’s calling for attention. We’ll explore what kind of support might serve you best and whether Depth Coaching feels like the right fit.
